$ The Process $


1. First, you will need to find a partner, someone who you think you could live with for four weeks and share a house, and budget the amount of money given to you.

2. You have to furnish this house completely.

3. You will create a spreadsheet to keep track of spending the allowed amount. Your spread sheet will contain all of the items purchased. It should include: items purchased, cost, quantities, taxes (if applicable), and a running accurate total.

4. You will need to pay the household expenses for four weeks. This includes heat, water, electricity, telephone, taxes, and cable T.V.. (this should be placed on your spreadsheet).

5. You are allowed to give to a charity, but if you give to a charity, you must identify the charity and what service(s) they provide. You can only donate the maximum amount of $10,000.

6. You may purchase expensive artwork and or antique, but you must research the piece and/or artist that created the piece. The maximum amount you can spend is $10,000.

7. You may purchase only one computer with accessories.

8. You are allowed to have a pet or pets, however, your pet allowance is $1,500.

9. Your major purchases can not exceed: more than two T.V. sets, two stereos, two VCRs, two DVD players, two forms of video game systems, furniture sets that will fit in the house.
