Looking for Bobowicz
By: Daniel Pinkwater
When
Nick moved from the leafy suburb to a muggy urban Hoboken and his bike was
stolen, he wasn’t pleased. I
loved reading this book.
When
Nick moved to Hoboken New Jersey, he did not like it. His new house was built about one hundred years ago. The house had no backyard, no front
yard, and no trees. Inside, his
house had no AC so it was hot. But
then, he went downstairs in the basement and found lots of junk. When he was looking around, he saw a
rusty old fan. He checked to see
if it worked and it did but it made a lot of noise. So he took it apart and piece by piece brought it to his
room. The he put oil in it and put
it back together. He also made
some new friends.
In
the beginning, Nick doesn’t like the house but in the end he makes some
friends and has a cool summer.
