I just read Number the Stars. The story takes place during the time of World War II and the Holocaust. There is a girl named Ellen Rosin and she is Jewish. The story is about how they get her away so the Germans don’t find her. The Germans are relocating all the Jews in Denmark to camps and Ellen doesn’t want to go because the German Soldiers don’t like the Jews. The Johansen family is trying to help the Rosin family by hiding them from the Germans. They could get killed for helping.

My opinion about this book is it is awesome and it always has you off your seat but it is not scary. It is about friendship holding on even through tough times. This is a really good book and I recommend you read it for yourself just like I did.
