Mrs. Hartung was born and raised in Taunton. She earned her CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies) from Bridgewater State College in February, 2010. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Bridgewater State College. Mrs. Hartung studied architecture at (RISD) Rhode Island School of Design where she earned two degrees; one in Architecture and the other in Fine Arts in 2000. She has been teaching at Taunton High School since 2001. Mrs. Hartung is also the STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics) Advisor and the former Project Intern Coordinator for Taunton High School. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Hartung was a freelance designer and was closely involved in the interior design of E. Taunton Elementary, Chamberlain Elementary and Friedman Middle schools, Oakland Fire Station as well as the renovation of the Council Chambers at City Hall in Taunton.
