10/25 Kick-off Red Ribbon Week
10/26- Pledges and Stickers ( students all sign pledges and receive stickers)
10/27- "Team Up" Against Bad Decisions (Wear your Favorite Team Jersey)
10/30- Red Sox or socks Day ( Wear Red Socks or Red Sox attire)
10/31- Mix It Up Day (Mix up your clothes and Mix up your seats at Lunch)
11/1- Red Day and 5th Grade Dance (All Students wear Red)
11/2- 6th and 7th Grade Dance
No candles, magazines, wrapping paper, or cookies! We are simply asking for a donation for our Fall Fundraiser. 100% of donations goes to Friedman Student Activities. We appreciate any amount you are able to give. Click here to download and print the donation form. Every student that participates has a chance for a cash pull!!! Thank you for your support.
Please join us in the Cafeteria at 6:00 pm for our Annual Grade 5 Math Night. Enjoy learning the concepts and standards your children are working on. Pizza and drinks will be served. We hope to see you there!

Who was Benjamin A. Friedman?
Benjamin A. Friedman, a World War II veteran, was elected to Taunton’s municipal council in 1961 and went on to a successful run for mayor in 1963, serving until 1970. Under Friedman’s administration, the city saw many improvements, including the construction of Edmund Hatch Bennett School, the dedication of the Vietnam Memorial Fountain on Church Green, and the opening of Massasoit State Park.
