Parents, Guardians, and Caretakers,
We will be having our first FPE meeting on 9/21/16 at 6:00 pm in the Friedman Middle School Library. Immediately following, there will be the grade 6 and 7 Expectation Night at 7:00 pm. We hope you are all able to join us.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the primary and Friedman is a polling place. Please know the voters are restricted to the foyer area with a police detail. Staff will use alternate routes to avoid the polling booth area. Thank you, Kathy Perry
Friedman Cross Country info: time trial will be held on the baseball softball fields on Thursday Sept. 8. All runners will report to the gym after dismissal. Time trial order: 5th grade 2:45, 6th grade 3:00, 7th grade 3:15.
Practice begins next week, Sept. 12. Monday, Thursday for grades 6&7, Wednesday for grade 5.

Who was Benjamin A. Friedman?
Benjamin A. Friedman, a World War II veteran, was elected to Taunton’s municipal council in 1961 and went on to a successful run for mayor in 1963. He served as mayor until 1970. Under Friedman’s administration, the city saw many improvements, including the construction of Edmund Hatch Bennett School, the dedication of the Vietnam Memorial Fountain on Church Green, and the opening of Massasoit State Park.
