You have been studying about slavery in your classroom and have just seen a play about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad so I will list some interesting places for you to travel to on the WWW to continue your studies. These are some pretty interesting internet sites, so I hope you will take the time and look at each site I have listed in the order I've listed them. When you finally reach the last two sites I would like you place yourself in the position these slaves found themselves in their lives. Think about your family and friends and how this life would be for them. I don't expect you to read the whole book but perhaps the first few pages, of course if you want to read more then please do so.These web sites provide information about "The Drinking Gourd".
