I would like to thank you all who attended the School Council and PTG meetings last night. It was so nice to see so many parents and families. Working together is truly the best way to make sure that all of our students have the best possible educational experience. We are having our School Council Presentation on Wednesday, October 11 at 6pm at our school; we would love to have students and families here for the presentation.
On Tuesday, October 3rd, we will be having our First Annual Chamberlain Community Night from 4pm-6pm! Please mark your calendars and join us for an evening filled with fun and excitement with the Taunton Community. We hope to see you all there!
If your child is a parent pick up, please remember to have your family sign hanging from the rearview mirror in your car. This is very helpful to staff, especially in the event that a teacher or staff member does not recognize your car. This will speed up the dismissal process.
Thank you all for a great first full week of school. I'm looking forward to a great school year!
Welcome back! Health cards have been sent out so please return them to school as soon as possible. If your child has had any changes to his or her health status, please contact me so we can discuss it. If your child requires medication during the school day, please bring the medication in to me if you haven't already done so. Please remember that all doctor's orders need to be renewed yearly.
When students are coming in and out of guidance, we are asking them to sign in and out.
If you move/change your address please be sure and notify the school. Also, if your child is going to be absent, please remember to call the attendance line at 508.821.4509.
Currently, we still do not have any extra snacks available in guidance, so please send your child in with a daily snack. Additionally, we would love to have snacks donated! If you are able to donate snacks, please call or bring them in. Thank you in advance!

Who was Joseph C. Chamberlain?
Joseph C. Chamberlain (1896-1965) was first elected to Taunton’s municipal council in 1940. A painter by trade and active in the local sports scene, Chamberlain went on to become the city’s thirty-sixth mayor, serving from 1954 to 1960. As mayor, Chamberlain worked to improve Taunton’s water system, and the 22.5 million gallon Prospect Hill Reservoir was completed under his administration.
