On January 6, 2010 students at Mulcahey Middle School welcomed Governor Deval Patrick with high fives and a heartwarming group hug. Superintendent Dr. Julie Hackett and a host of local, state, and federal dignitaries joined the Governor as he visited classrooms. The Governor even participated in a Spelling Bee. Principal Christel Torres and her staff served as excellent hosts for this remarkable event. The entire school was bursting at the seams with Mulcahey Pride.
