Career Information – New England Institute of Technology will be in the TORC Room in Guidance on Wed., Jan. 14th at 2:30 p.m. If you are interested please sign up with your guidance counselor.
The next general membership meeting for the Key Club will be on Mon., January 12th in D308.
There will be a mandatory Portuguese Club meeting in Room S115 on Tuesday, Jan. 13th after school. Please bring any overdue fundraiser money and sweatshirt orders.
All mentor students should pass in their contract form. Please leave them on the desk in TORC.
The Taunton High School Baseball team will be holding Captain Practices every Tuesday from
3-5. If interested, please bring your equipment on Tuesdays and meet in the Athletic Parking Lot around 2:30 p.m. Also the amount will be $10 a person. For any further questions, see Michael Reilly or Brian Terry.
Seniors: Now is the time to get your college applications touched up before you send them out. There will be another essay writing workshop on Jan. 8th at 2:30 – 4:30. You should bring your college applications and draft essay. We will be meeting in D207. Sign up on the Guidance Dept. Deadlines are fast approaching. Don’t delay. See Ms. Barbour or Ms. O’Brien for more information.
MCAS Tutoring: Staring Sat., Dec. 6th, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m, MCAS tutoring will be offered in D209 for additional assistance at Taunton High School. This is an opportunity for students to improve on Math, English and Science skills. This is a short time to make a huge impact on your high school career. Mailings will be sent home to freshman and sophomores explaining after school and Saturday MCAS support.
Freshman Health Screening – Beginning Oct. 20th during A Block.
Student Council sponsored Friday Jeans Days is back! The cost is $5.00 per week which permits staff to wear jeans for the day. All monies should be forwarded to Mr. Parcellin or Mrs. Pearson who will in turn hand out a sticker. Thank you to all of the many staff members who contributed last year to the program. Thousands of dollars were raised which benefited such charities as the Student Awards Program, The Jimmy Fund, Women’s place of Boston, Our Daily Bread of Taunton, Spencer Nuttall’s family, the Autism Association, and the American Cancer Society. Please remember that all monies donated to Friday Jeans Days are allocated to worthy programs in the area. StuCo thanks you for your generosity.

Teachers: When taking your class outside, you may leave through ANY door, but you must
RE-ENTER through either the FRONT DOOR or LOADING DOCK DOOR. DO NOT LEAVE DOORS PROPPED OPEN FOR RE-ENTRY!
