Homeless Assistance
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is a federal law that protects the educational rights of students experiencing homelessness. Our McKinney-Vento team includes Community Facilitator Lynn Farinha, our bi-lingual facilitators, and Administrative Assistant Cheryl Lyons under the supervision of Director of Student Services Stephanie Hoye.
Our team can provide quick and immediate help with:
- Enrollment and registration
- Clothing
- Access to food pantries
- Basic hygiene necessities
- Public Transportation
- Connecting with community agencies
Families who are experiencing homelessness should contact their student’s principal or school counselor to begin services.
