Dear Parents, June 2019
I would like to wish all of you a safe and happy summer. Enjoy the time you will spend with your children. Remember to read to and with your child as often as possible. Be sure your child reads the books they selected as part of our summer reading program.
Here is some information about the start of school in August:
-The first day of school for students in grades 1-4 is Wednesday, August 28th.
-The first day of school for Kindergarten is Thursday, September 5th.
-Free Lunch and breakfast will be served for all students.
-Class lists will be posted on the school doors beginning Friday, August 23rd. Please come by to see who your child’s teacher will be. If you prefer NOT to have your child’s name posted, send me an email and I will leave his/her name off. I respectfully request that you NOT post the lists on social media so that the parents who do not want their child’s name out there can have their privacy.
-Bus Lists will be posted on the tauntonschools.org website. Please check regularly beginning in the middle of August to see where and when your child will be picked up.
We are looking forward to a relaxing summer for all of the staff, students, and families at Hopewell School. Enjoy the vacation and come back ready to learn!!
