We are pleased to welcome your family to the Taunton Public Schools! Going to a new school is a very important step for your child and can be an anxious time for families. With this in mind, we strive to make the registration process as easy and convenient as possible.
 
All registration is done online.

Summer Registration
 
Caregivers who need technical or language assistance with online registration can visit the Family Welcome Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 24 to August 21.
 
For students in grades PreK-7: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
For students in grades 8-12: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
 
The Family Welcome Center is located at Parker Middle School
60 Williams Street.

Registration Required Documents
 
1. Valid Photo ID acceptable forms include:
  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • Other Official Government ID
2. Student Birth Certificate: Birth abstracts, hospital records, and other unofficial documents are not accepted
3. One Proof of Residency: It must include the legal guardian's name and a Taunton address. Acceptable forms include:
  • Property Tax Bill
  • Mortgage Statement
  • Section 8 Agreement
  • Quitclaim Deed
  • Active Lease Agreement
  • If no such document exists, parents/guardians must produce a notarized TPS address affidavit form
4. One Proof of Occupancy: It must include the legal guardian's name and a Taunton address and be dated within the last 60 days. Acceptable forms of proof include:
  • Any Utility Bill- cable/internet, electric, gas, oil, water
  • If no such document exists, MA health insurance letter or transitional assistance letter
5. Health Records: Proof of last physical examination within the last 13 months
6. Immunization Records
7. Other Important Documents: if applicable
