Aiden Mendes, a member of the class of 2024, has won a National Student Production Award in the Director category for his film “Sunflower.”

Superintendent John J. Cabral and School Committee Chairman Dr. Gregory De Melo are pleased to announce that Taunton Public Schools has acquired the property at 2 Hamilton Street, formerly Coyle-Cassidy High and Middle School.

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) will conduct an Integrated Monitoring Review of Taunton Public Schools during the week of December 02, 2024.

The process is part of a pilot program and is a collaboration with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA), and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA).

William LeFaivre created Ski Sense to help people learn to ski and was awarded a U.S. Patent for his invention.

Bus lists for the 2024-2025 school year are now available

This two-year grant will support Taunton High School in its ongoing efforts to transform the high school experience, focusing on creating a more inclusive, supportive, and rigorous environment for all students.

As a participant in the second-ever cohort of this two-year program, Blennau joins a select group of secondary school leaders.

Emard has more than 15 years of experience in education. She joined the Taunton Public Schools District in 2009 and worked in special education at Caleb Barnum and then Edward F. Leddy Preschools. For the past three years, Emard has been assistant principal at East Taunton Elementary School.
