Extended Day Registration & Enrollment

Enrollment in the Taunton Extended Day Program is available for students enrolled in Taunton Public Schools full-day PreK programs and students attending Taunton Public Schools elementary and middle schools, subject to space availability.

Caregivers should select the appropriate enrollment packet based on their student's program or grade level.

Full-Day PreK Students

Students enrolled in a Taunton Public Schools full-day PreK program should complete the PreK Extended Day enrollment packet.

PreK Extended Day Enrollment Packet

To enroll, caregivers must submit:

  • A completed enrollment packet
  • A non-refundable $25 registration fee
  • First and last week's tuition
  • A wallet-size photo of the student
  • A copy of the student's most recent physical examination and immunization records

Extended Day summer programming is not available for students enrolled in full-day PreK programs. 

Kindergarten-Middle School Students

Students in kindergarten through grade 7 should complete the School-Age Extended Day enrollment packet.

K-Middle School Extended Day Enrollment Packet

To enroll, caregivers must submit:

  • A completed enrollment packet
  • A non-refundable $25 registration fee
  • First and last week's tuition
  • A wallet-size photo of the student
  • A copy of the student's most recent physical examination and immunization records

Enrollment Information 

  • Enrollment is subject to program availability.
  • Enrollment materials should generally be submitted at least two weeks before a student's anticipated start date.
  • Wait times may be longer at the beginning of the school year and the summer program.
  • Students must be enrolled for a minimum of two days per week during the school year.
  • Schedule changes require two weeks' written notice.
  • Withdrawal from the program requires two weeks' written notice.

 Before You Enroll

  • Students participating in the Taunton Extended Day Program must be toilet-trained.
  • Transportation between schools is available for students whose school does not have an on-site Extended Day location.
  • Summer programming is available for school-age students only. Students enrolled in full-day PreK programs are not eligible for the Extended Day summer program.
