Strategic Plan 2025-2030

To create our new strategic plan, Taunton Public Schools partnered with Attuned Education Partners and followed a clear, four-step process. Nearly 1,000 people across the Taunton community, including caregivers, students, staff, and community members, shared feedback through surveys, focus groups, interviews, school visits, and community conversations. The district also reviewed data, classroom practices, and student experiences to better understand what is working well and where improvements are needed.

That work helped shape four strategic priorities: Rigorous Instruction, Student Culture, Talent Development, Support & Growth, and Stakeholder Engagement. Together, these priorities guide the district’s work and support success for every student.

Our Vision
The Taunton Public Schools will provide all learners with culturally responsive learning experiences that support their academic, social and emotional needs. Our learners will be self-advocates who are empowered with choice in their learning and post-secondary goals, positively impacting the community.

For Students: We want your school to feel safe, welcoming, and supportive. Your teachers and staff are here to help you, and when challenges come up, we’ll respond in ways that are caring and respectful so you can keep learning and moving forward.

 

For Caregivers: We are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every student feels they belong. We’re also working with our educators to respond to student behaviors in ways that are caring and effective, so all students can grow and thrive.

For Caregivers: We believe communication works best when it goes both ways. That's why we're building stronger ways to share important information with you - and to hear your thoughts, questions, and feedback. Together, we can support every student's success
